Both Tomkin and Apollo are available as sires for those fully registered Alaskan Malamutes.  The females must be brought to our kennel one (1) week before the commencement of their heat cycle.  We will document each breeding and provide a range of dates within which to expect the arrival of a litter.  The female's vaccinations must be current and each must undergo testing by the registered owner's veterinarian that the female is clear of STDs which can leave our males sterile.  A veterinarian's statement on his letterhead that the female has undergone the required testing and been cleared will be sufficient.

Our stud  fee is $500 per female per "season" and is due upon the conclusion of breeding.  If, by chance, a veterinarian determines at 6 weeks that the female is not pregnant, the stud fee will be promptly refunded.  If, however, a litter results from the breeding, we will promptly sign and return the application for registration of the litter.

The same will apply in those instances in which we find ourselves in need of a sire for our females.  The male must be brought to our kennel (we will make arrangements for the pickup of the male).  A stud fee of $500 per female per "season" will be paid - at the option of the male's registered owner - 1) at the conclusion of the breeding, or 2) upon confirmation by our veterinarian at 6 weeks that our female is pregnant.  If paid at the conclusion of the breeding, the registered owner of the male must agree 1) to promptly refund the sire fee if our veterinarian determines that our female is not pregnant at 6 weeks, or, in the event a litter results from the breeding, the registered owner of the male must agree to promptly sign and return the application for registration of the litter.
