Apollo is the son of Juneau (sire) and Mercedes (dam) and the grandson of Dakota and Tundra, thus, a third-generation Alaskan Malamute from Ruhmanns' Kennels. See photographs below! Click here to view Apollo's pedigree
Our little boy is all grown up! Apollo still eats like a horse, but, now he ALSO fancies himself quite the ladies' man!
Apollo has been OFA-certified Click here to view Apollo's OFA certificate. Additionally, Apollo's sire, Juneau, has been OFA-certified Click here, as well as his paternal grandparents, Dakota Click here and Tundra Click here. Apollo's dam, Mercedes, has not been OFA-certified (nor her sister, Lexus), but two of Mercedes' offspring, Kodi Click here and Isis (Apollo's sister) Click here and two of Lexus' offspring, Tara Click here and Sadie Click here have been OFA-certified.
Apollo has the temperament of his grandfather, Dakota, and the energy of his father, Juneau! Very docile and cuddly! And, just like Dakota, Apollo can put away an enormous amount of food daily and still crunch a handful of biscuits in a matter of mere seconds! Unlike his father, Juneau, however, Apollo does not care for water - except to drink! He has never exhibited any aggression towards the other males of our kennel - even when they are trying to intimidate him while running loose in the yard.
Apollo was impatiently waiting for Ron to finish repairing his pen ... he decided it would involve too much work to dig a hole large enough to crawl under the fences, so he had broken all the t-post ties the entire length of his pen (AND the next pen!) to visit "the girls" next door.
Apollo loves to run! Almost as much as he likes to eat!
