** ISIS **
Isis is the daughter of Juneau (sire) and Mercedes (dam), the granddaughter of Dakota and Tundra and, thus, one of the third generation of Alaskan Malamutes from Ruhmanns' Kennels.
We retained four (4) pups from our 2006-2007 breeding season to enable us to present a Third Generation of Alaskan Malamutes from our kennel. As noted above, Isis is the daughter of Juneau and Mercedes. Juneau has been adopted by a family in New Mexico and has the companionship of a half-sister, named Sierra. I'm told that Juneau has adapted well to being a house dog and is getting along great with the family's other pets (a cat and a pig!). Mercedes remains with us and will continue to produce beautiful puppies for us for a couple more years.

* Isis has not yet been OFA-certified, but will be at 2 years of age. However, her sire, Juneau has been OFA-certified Click here, as have her paternal grandparents, Dakota Click here and Tundra Click here. Her dam, Mercedes, has not been OFA-certified (nor has Mercedes' sister, Lexus), but, at least one of Mercedes' offspring, Kodi Click here, and two of Lexus' offspring, Tara Click here and Sadie Click here, have been OFA-certified.
Isis inherited Mercedes' coat, but, Lexus' temperament. Very vocal! She has nearly mastered the "sit" command. She is highly energetic and never seems to tire! She shares Apollo's love of dog biscuits and playing with the ball!
Isis is becoming a beautiful girl! She's got a great temperament as well!
Isis is a very active girl! She has learned that she must sit quietly if she wants a petting. She and Gizmo are great pen-mates ... they are running from the moment they awaken in the morning! They get along well ... neither takes a dominant stance with the other. But, Isis has exhibited dominance towards a couple of our more layed back females ... Gizmo generally intervenes and captures Isis' attention as if to say, "Life's too short to be fussy!"
