We have welcomed the arrival of two (2) new girls to our kennel ... Kiska and Skye (below)!  Kiska tends to be timid while Skye is vocal and outgoing ... they compliment each other very well!

Kiska is a daughter of our Mercedes and Juneau (Apollo's sister but not littermate).  She is a beautiful girl with a thick coat and her mother's face!  She is shy ... takes her lead from Skye.  If Skye comes for a petting, so does Kiska.  She seems to prefer the security of the dog house for now, but rushes out if Skye starts barking!

Kiska is VERY curious about the other dogs "on the hill" ... watches and listens intently when they are excited about something!

Skye is the granddaughter of our Cheyenne and Juneau.  Like her grandparents, she is very outgoing!  She spent the first 2-3 days barking at everything that moved!  Now she eagerly runs up to anyone approaching the gate and soaks up petting!  She is a bit of a ham when it comes to the camera, though ... seems to prefer close-ups!

Skye is usually nose-to-the-ground ... she and Kiska are currently in Baron's pen (he is paired with Nessie now), so I'm certain she is "getting acquainted" with his scent.  She is often simply running around and playing with Kiska.
