Cheyenne has been spayed and is presently sharing a pen with Apollo for companionship (and exercise). She is still highly energetic! She has been selective about the same-sex aggression typical of Mals. So, her best canine companion would be a male of comparable size and energy!

Cheyenne and Apollo share a tender moment!  They have been a great pair ... both energetic and playful!  They will chase each other around the pen, wrestle for a few moments, then lay down side-by-side for a nap.

Cheyenne would sit for HOURS for petting ... a good-natured dog with immeasurable energy!  She has met her match with Apollo, though!

Cheyenne and Apollo attempting to become better acquainted with Gus, one of our several rescue cats.  Neither would harm him, but, it's become a bit of a game between them and the cats.  The cats will deliberately sit atop the tiers of the flower bed to "sun" themselves or casually walk along the outside of the fence, then lay down to let the dogs sniff.

Cheyenne and Apollo enjoying a leisurely stroll in the yard.  They both have great temperaments and love attention ... the only difference between them is that Cheyenne LOVES the water and will play in the water tub.  As far as Apollo is concerned, water is for drinking and nothing else!  Cheyenne has shown no interest in cats she's come into contact with.  She will play for hours with an oppossum without injuring it in the least - until we are forced to remove it from her pen!
