Pumpkin is a very sweet girl!  She is adoring of everyone she meets!  Like most Mals, however, as she has aged, she has become less tolerant of other female Mals.  Although she is not the aggressor, the battle is on once the other female has growled the third time!  She exhibits no aggression towards smaller animals, though.  And, on the rare occasion that she comes into contact with one of the barn cats, she exhibits only mild curiosity ... she makes no attempt to harm them.

Pumpkin is not overly fond of the camera, likely because she would prefer that both hands are free for petting!  But, with a little patience, I'm able to catch that "photo moment" and get a cute pic!

Pumpkin loves to play ball!  And, she will play by herself, if necessary, tossing it up in the air, jumping up to catch it, then, run around the pen like crazy!

Pumpkin loves to give "bear hugs" ... she can stand erect for the longest time!  Her sire is a long-hair and, although her coat isn't nearly as long as his, her coat is much thicker and longer than the coats of our other female Mals.  Thankfully, she loves to be brushed!

She has tired of having her picture taken today and is retiring to the hole she has dug in the corner!
