I've created a new page with MORE pictures to showcase the success of "our boys" in Colorado!
Chinook and Yukon are littermates whelped July, 2004 at our kennel. The dam/sire are Ruhmanns' Mercedes and Ruhmanns' Goliath. Mercedes is still a member of our family of Alaskan Malamutes. Goliath has since retired and is now living with a family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Chinook.1 - pulled over 1,300 lbs the first day, taking 3rd place in his weight class!

Yukon.1 - pulled over 1,500 lbs the first day, taking 2nd place in his weight class!

Chinook is excited about this pull! On his second day of competing, he pulled over 1,700 lbs, taking 2nd place in his weight class!
Yukon
On his second day of competing, Yukon pulled over 1,700 lbs, but, did so a bit faster than Chinook, taking 1st place! The power of the Alaskan Malamute - at any weight - is phenomenal!
The Perez' report that Yukon NEARLY pulled 2,000 lbs to begin with, but, the cart got stuck in a rut and he couldn't pull out of it.
